Now I know Guild Wars is never about the loot – and that loot is cosmetic. But getting a handful of level 74-77 blue items for completing an explorable mode dungeon is shit. That really bothered me last night. I really see no desire to grind out those dungeon tokens (I had fucking dungeon tokens in SWTOR, and we ALL complained about it). I don’t expect to get the holy grail of gear drops while running a dungeon… but at least a fucking green item… maybe a yellow item. But some underleveled blue shit? No not worth it. It’s going to take some serious convincing to get me into another dungeon… or even log in. (I should’ve known after the last dungeon run, or the one before that or the one before…..)

I've pretty much stopped logging in because of the dungeons. I've been playing through some other games mostly; Borderlands 2, Torchlight 2, Prototype 2; I'm on Skyrim now. Will probably go back to Borderlands 2 for the second playthrough after that. Then I might come back to work on 100% map completion or start a new character, but I'm not sure I ever plan to do another dungeon unless they at least fix the drops, preferably the 1-shots too. I wanted GW2 to replace WoW for me but if it's not fun, I can only give Arenanet so long before I give up. I hope GW2 doesn't end up like TOR, but I had also hoped that they would have made a lot more changes in the time that I was playing other games.

edit: I was told there is a dungeon requirement for the story? Fucking forced PvE =P

I have a full set of exotic armor and weapons and never had to do multiple runs for them and that's awesome to me. Now if I don't want to look like everyone else that crafted all their shit I use the transmutation stones to make it look like whatever I want.
